01 Upload Finalizes Meeting
Goal
A user uploads a recorded meeting and receives a finalized transcript, headline, summary, topics, talking points, and tasks without using live recording.
Why This Comes Now
Upload finalization is the smallest shared proof of the meeting rebuild path. It establishes the canonical post-processing pipeline before live recording, recovery, notes, speakers, playback, or hardening depend on it.
Included Scope
- User creates or selects a meeting and uploads one supported audio file.
- The uploaded source audio is persisted so the meeting can be rebuilt deterministically.
- The uploaded audio is transcribed into a final transcript.
- A final meeting headline, summary, topics, talking points, and extracted tasks are generated.
- The meeting finalization state is visible so the user can tell whether processing is pending, failed, or complete.
Not Included
- Live microphone capture or streaming transcript.
- Local browser durability, reconnect recovery, or background recording behaviour.
- User notes, live talking points, live task reconciliation, speaker assignment, synced playback, or recording hardening.
- Editing generated artifacts after finalization.

- The meeting shows a processing state while upload transcription and synthesis run.
- The final transcript is visible after processing completes.
- Headline, summary, topics, talking points, and tasks are visible on the finalized meeting.
- Refreshing the page preserves the finalized artifacts and processing state.
- Upload finalization failure leaves a visible failed state with enough diagnostic context for retry or support.
- No live recording capability is required to complete this milestone.
